Jackfruit walking taco was absolutely and wonderfully delicious! Had such a strong and pleasant flavor and was very filling. I will definitely order an extra one to go next time!
This was my first time at 2nd Street Market. I’m looking forward to returning. It is cute with lots of local businesses selling unique items and food. I am glad I was finally able to check out Vegan It Iz. I had the walnut taco and jackfruit taco, I am minimizing my gluten intake due to a sensitivity. And I was able to get the corn tortilla instead of the flour tortilla. The chef also removed the crispy onions. Every thing was very tasty. I like the walnut meat crumble. It reminded me of ground sausage, when I used to eat that. I also subbed the regular jackfruit for the spicy jackfruit. I really like the texture and flavor of the jackfruit it was seasoned well. I don’t know if this is normal but my jackfruit taco had some walnut minced with it. I like the combo. I want expecting a sweet sauce on the taco. It was like a sweet/sour sauce. I felt it had more of an Asian inspiration than Mexican. I’m not much for sweet food but this was tasty. I would have like a lime wedge to offset the sweetness. Overall it was great and I’ll be back!
I'm not even vegan but I eat this food regularly! You don't have to be vegan to appreciate amazing culinary artistry! Do yourself a favor and try the walnut tacos and black bean burger. You will be different afterwards.
This is such a hidden gem in Dayton. We were in Dayton a week and almost missed it. We had a very delicious vegan BBQ pulled pork sandwich and their Mac and Cheese was amazing! Highly recommend this place if you are vegan or not. Can’t even tell it is Vegan! Great job!
This place is incredible! I’m not even vegan, but their food is so fresh and flavorful that it’s become my go-to anytime I’m at the market. The tacos are out of this world—so good you’ll be thinking about them long after! The owner is amazing and has so much passion it shows in every dish she puts out. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Amazing food, great vibes—don’t sleep on this spot!
Wow, don't miss this spot if you're a vegan in Dayton! Everything is so fresh and the flavors are creative and on point. The 2nd St Market is an oasis in this city. I grew up here and moved away, but as my stomach is the way to my heart it took Vegan It Iz Eats to make me feel safe and welcomed again. I needed a feel good and filling moment and they really deliver. Thank you!!
While in Dayton this weekend my wife and I discovered this place. The tacos were delicious. We both had the jackfruit and walnut tacos and they were amazing. All natural and fresh ingredients. This place if definitely a must try.
I have so favorites at this establishment I don’t even know where to start! First of all this chef’s culinary skills are an experience that is out of this world! Not only does everything look amazing, but it tastes just how it looks, amazing! Please try her walnut tacos and her mushroom and black bean burger! The best Vegan burger I’ve ever tasted!
I cannot say enough great things about this place. It has become an absolute STAPLE in my diet and I literally spend my weeks waiting until Friday so I can enjoy it again. No matter what I’ve ordered, from my favorite jackfruit tacos, to the best black bean burger I’ve ever eaten, or soups that my husband genuinely can’t get enough of - everything is fresh, outrageously tasty, and completely VEGAN - you can’t get better than that ❤️
Walked up right at closing and still received excellent customer service..The walking taco with jack fruit with spice to give it some heat was DAMN DELICIOUS! OMG! additional review..it was so good I considered licking the plate... so I just kept scraping my fork along the bottom.
